Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum is also created and developed a cementless hip replacement systems as well as developing medical instruments that aid in surgeries involving partial noncompartmental knee replacements. In addition, Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum holds many other trademark designs in other surgical instruments and medical information systems. Even the American Academy of Orthopedics uses the DVD he produced titled “Optimizing Techniques in Uncompartmentalized Knee Replacements” as one of their top media products. Dr. Kirschenbaum is continuously a driving force in researching and developing partial and full knee replacements and single incision minimally invasive hip and kneed replacement surgery.
He began his career in the medical field in 1975 at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He graduated in 1979 at then continued his training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University from 1979 to 1990. There he received his M.D. specializing in medicine and orthopedic surgery. Then, from 1990 to 1991, Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum completed his fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University. And last, but certainly not least, Harvard Business School from 2011-2012 for executive education in managing healthcare delivery, and again in 2018 for more executive education in the measurement of healthcare value.
